The mission of the Gabriel Dumont Institute is to promote the renewal and development of Métis culture through research; materials development, collection, and distribution; and the design, development, and delivery of Métis-specific educational programs and services.
Gabriel Dumont Institute Training & Employment (GDITE) aims to close the gaps in employment, earnings, and skills for Saskatchewan’s Métis. GDITE offers career research and exploration, diagnostic assessment, and employment counseling to all clients. Eligible Métis clients can access a range of sponsored supports based on a Career Action Plan including training, wage subsidy, job search and job search tools, and more.
